Position Summary – Assists Nitrogen Supervisor with all aspects of nitrogen operations. 

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Utilizes “STOP WORK AUTHORITY”                                                                        
    • Operates Nitrogen pumps and associated equipment with minimal supervision.                 
    • Operates Nitrogen Transports with minimal supervision.                        
    • Mobilizes equipment by driving Nitrogen pumps and transports (land operations only), or pickup trucks to the job location.
    • Conducts the pre-job and post-job inspections and testing of the Nitrogen pumps, transports, and any other auxiliary equipment.                
    • Conducts the maintenance and general upkeep of the Nitrogen units and related equipment. 
    • Maintains a safe work area or job site by following the company's HSE and Standard Operating Procedures manuals.
    • Monitors, inspects, and adjusts all major equipment during operations to ensure the equipment's adequate operation, such adjusting pump and injection rates.                         
    • Trains and evaluates new operators on Nitrogen equipment operations and procedures.      
    • Delegates certain job tasks to junior operators during job operation.
    • Writes accurate daily logs, pre- and post-job reports, JSA's and other documentation as required.
    • Actively participates in JSA’s and safety meetings.
    • Has read and understands the Gladiator SOP’s related to the Nitrogen service line.     
    • For land-based operations, drive and/or load DOT-regulated vehicles both in-state and between states carrying Gladiator Energy LLC property that is used in furtherance of Gladiator Energy LLC's business and which substantially affects safety in intrastate transportation.    
    • Trains and mentors Nitrogen operators and new employees on all aspects of the Nitrogen service line. 

Prerequisites

    • High school diploma/G.E. D (preferred) or equivalent.
    • Valid Class A CDL (preferred), with hazardous material endorsement (Mandatory), Tanker Endorsement (Mandatory).
    • TWIC card (Mandatory)
    • Ability to work a "14 Days On 7 Days Off" schedule and remain fit for duty.
    • Ability to meet all physical, language, mathematical and reasoning ability requirements of the Nitrogen Operator position.
    • This position requires the employee to have completed a minimum of 6 months as a Nitrogen Pump Operator or equivalent.
