Edison Energy LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Edison International (NYSE: EIX) and does business in Europe as Altenex Energy and Alfa Energy Group.
You will be a key part of the Sustainability and Asset Management team and be responsible for helping to win and deliver energy and carbon management projects. Your input in liaising with clients, managing individuals projects and technical delivery will be required throughout the process of initial engagement to the provision of final reports. To be successful the ideal candidate will:
Core Responsibilities
- Be capable of taking over and deliver existing energy and carbon management projects, as well as assist our Sales and Marketing team develop new proposals
- Manage ESOS projects from start to final delivery
- Work face to face with clients to the development and delivery of energy projects across a range of industries
- Be capable of managing stakeholders expectations
- Undertake a project management role against agreed budgets and timings
- Build relationships internally with Alfa different teams and externally with existing partners and sub-contractors
- Provide technical expertise to develop new bids and projects
Experience
- ESOS Lead Assessor required - additional accreditation (e.g. CIBSE, EMA, etc.) - Beneficial
- EED - Experience in auditing in Europe - Beneficial
- Understanding of compliances (ESOS, ISO, 50001, SECR, EUETS, CCA, TM44)
- Be a Graduate member of an appropriate professionals institution working towards achieving full corporate membership Chartered status
- Experience assisting I&C clients in energy modelling assessments, surveys and audits
- Experience developing renewable and on-site generation opportunities from feasibility to de-livery stage
- Presenting project outcomes and recommendations from energy site audits to clients
- Be prepared to travel in UK and Europe site visits/audits
- A strong academic background including a bachelors' and/or Masters' degree in subjects such as Energy Systems or a related discipline
- Experience of working in the consultancy sector and demonstrate commercial awareness would be beneficial
