This role is an entry-level position within Edison’s Data & Settlement Services team. The primary goal for this team is to gain efficiencies through process development and standardization for client service delivery while maintaining the highest level of accuracy, timeliness and professionalism. This role will provide utility administration support to natural gas and electricity energy managers in Edison’s Energy Supply Advisory service line.
Change of tenancies in the U.S. market:
Open Account Service
o Contact utility provider to confirm accurate information on the new utility account(s), including but not limited to: Corporate name, Federal Tax ID number, service address, meter number and billing address
o Coordinate with data aggregator/payment partner, informing them of the new account and estimated bill generation date of the first invoice
Close Account Service
o Contact utility provider to terminate service, confirm the final bill be sent to the same billing address on file, and negotiate any deposits to be refunded to client
o Confirm with client and data aggregation/payment partner the account has been closed and inactivate the sites and account after the final bill(s) have been received
o Data collection and entering and processing data in internal data systems within a set time frame
Rate Analysis – U.S. Markets
o Evaluate feasibility to switch to a more favorable utility rate schedule, identify incentives and uncover opportunities to opt-in or opt-out of various charges
