Position Overview
Edison’s Energy Supply Advisory team partners with our clients by working with internal decision-makers to reach their organizational goals by facilitating the procurement of electricity and natural gas while managing market risk. The primary goal for this role is twofold; to lead our client facing team focusing on client satisfaction, team development and integration and to manage client contracts, cost to serve and risk for the organization. This role will report to the Managing Director, Energy Supply Advisory.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage team of Energy Advisors
- Establish strategic goals with team members and other Directors, aligning with Edison goals
- Manage team workload and distribute responsibilities
- Supervise employee performance, time, and expense reporting
- Resolve client concerns and high-impact account issues
- Hire and train new employees, as needed
- Develop team skills and provide guidance to employees
- Coordinate and facilitate cross training: cross commodity, cross client, renewable products, etc.
- Implement policies and procedures in accordance with Edison directives
Manage Revenue and Respective P/L for Team
- Lead regular client contract reviews with advisors focusing on optimizing service delivery strategy, scope, margin and risk mitigation
- Work with advisors to lead contract renewal negotiations through execution
- Grow relationships by focusing on client satisfaction and collaborating with Sales
- Communicate known risks to leadership when appropriate
- Manage costs associated with serving client base
Facilitate New Client Onboarding
- Establish service team for new clients providing clarity on roles and responsibilities
- Work with advisors to pull in resources required during onboarding based on size and scope of new client
- Ensure a seamless transition from previous service provider to Edison
Lead Team for Internal Technology Work in Conjunction with Director of IT and Supply Resources
- Work with Managing Director to set and implement technology strategy
- Establish roles and training protocol
- Facilitate change management
- Serve as Project Manager for a variety of technology projects within Supply Advisory
Requirements
- 8 years energy experience in a field such as engineering, trading, procurement or utility management
- Managerial experience or other demonstrated leadership proficiency
- Strong communicator, both in writing and in presentation skills, as the role involves senior level client interaction
- Capacity to give constructive feedback and hold team members accountable
- Commitment to teamwork
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

$127,700 - $160,000 a year
Edison Energy offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.
The listed salary range listed represents Edison Energy’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries across all U.S. locations. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to geographic location and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
Edison Energy reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
