40 hours per week. Weekdays and weekends required. Flexible hours required. Incentive to earn up to $5,250 annual tuition reimbursement paid directly to the University based on job, schedule, and academic performance. Students are eligible after 2 months of employment.

Minimum Qualifications

    • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
    • Great customer service skills.
    • Interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
    • Able to multi-task and prioritize work.
    • Should be able to respond to client and internal customer promptly.
    • Excellent support, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
    • Should be able to analyze and interpret technical procedures. 
    • Proficient in systems and Internet applications, web browsers, e-mail etc. 
    • Knowledge of word processing software, database software and Intranet software
    • Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy (25+ pound) objects. 
    • Comfortable with Facilities tasks, such as painting, patching, building furniture, etc.
    • Actively enrolled in a technical degree preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

    • Installing, configuring, modifying and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software. 
    • Provide client support as need as it relates to integration or implementation of program.
    • Identify technical issues and resolve problems via phone, email, or any other electronic medium.
    • Configuring internet related software applications.
    • Identify, resolve and advise on operational issues in the systems.
    • Create new accounts using software tools.
    • Trouble shoot technical and non-technical issues related systems web hosting plans and services.
    • Providing technical support for escalation issues as needed. 
    • Evaluates workload capacity of computer system to determine feasibility of expanding or enhancing computer operations.
    • Help evaluate and test various vendor & client software to determine compatibility with existing system, ease of use and if software meets needs.
    • Assist in training staff in use of software or hardware as needed. 
    • Working with vendors to ensure quality of services and proper implementation.
    • Deployment and repair of facilities related items via internal resolution or through a partner.
$18 - $19 an hour
