As an Office and IT Coordinator at Einride, you'll be joining a top talent team of ambitious, creative, kind-hearted people who challenge conventional thinking, think big, and aim for zero. You will represent both the Office Services and IT teams at our small but mighty Austin office. The Austin office typically welcomes about 20 people per day, and is also a waystation and meeting point for guests and remote employees. 

This position is perfect for a talented administrative assistant or office manager who enjoys working with technology and is interested in exploring an IT career. We’re looking for someone conscientious, energetic, service-oriented, but above all eager to learn. You will report to the Head of IT and enjoy the camaraderie and mentorship of both the IT and Office Services teams.

What you'll do (Office):

    • Greet visitors and manage the sign-in process
    • Manage our card access system
    • Point of contact for security system and fire protection
    • Coordinate with local vendors, including the landlord, maintenance, cleaning, delivery, catering
    • Manage suppliers including contract approvals, invoice approvals, and other billing
    • Manage office supplies including stationery, pantry items, sanitary supplies etc.
    • Organize external and internal mail, deliveries, receipts
    • Manage internal events such as holiday celebrations, company town halls etc.
    • You’ll update staff on changes via Slack and write staff guides on our wiki

What you'll do (IT):

    • You will answer IT and Office Service request tickets both in person and via Slack/email. You will be the first point of contact for about 10% of Einride staff, who work locally or remotely in your timezone 
    • You’ll escalate tickets that you can’t answer to your friendly Sweden-based teammates. You’ll have daily contact with us every morning and we’ll be sure to guide you through any tough problems
    • You will help troubleshoot conference room AV equipment, printing, and other hardware issues on-site in our Austin office, escalating to local vendors as needed
    • You will greet new joiners and help them get set up with all the tech they need to be successful
    • You will manage orders for cell phones and laptops, manage subscriptions, and maintain inventory
    • You will learn new things every day as you solve new problems and work with new technologies

What we're looking for:

    • You hold a Bachelor or equivalent experience
    • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written
    • You will work onsite at the office every day, typically 8:30-4:30 
    • You are eager to learn everything from technical details to troubleshooting methods to how to write good documentation
    • You are careful, organized, and detail-oriented
    • You are proactive by nature and enjoy a fast-paced working environment
    • You have a versatile mindset and the ability to quickly shift focus on company needs
    • You are curious with a creative mindset and a technical interest
    • Experience with the Google Workspace Suite is a big plus
    • Ideally, you are familiar with Windows, macOS, and/or Linux: you can run upgrades, install apps, and troubleshoot common issues on at least 1 of these OSes already
This position is based in Austin, TX onsite at our office with our amazing team. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible as selection and interviews are held continually.
