The Senior Director of Life Science Business Development is a pivotal role in Eko Health’s rapidly growing Life Science business unit. The primary focus is on driving pipeline expansion and sales with pharmaceutical and medical device companies. This role requires strategic acumen to continually evolve the Life Science go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record selling innovative products into pharmaceutical clinical development teams as well as experience with commercial and medical affairs teams. Additionally, the Senior Director will bring a robust network of relationships across major pharmaceutical companies and CROs.
As a Senior Director of Life Science Business Development at Eko, You Will:
- Enterprise sales lead. Monetizing Eko assets and capabilities in pharma/med device clinical development, commercial, and medical affairs strategies.
- Developing a repeatable business model related to the clinical trials market.
- Securing large, strategic deals tied to pharma/med device commercialization strategies.
- Forming R&D partnerships to advance the algorithm portfolio.
- Working with the Life Science Strategic Analyst to build a database of targets aligned with Eko’s value proposition.
- Collaborating with the Eko sales operations team to evolve processes and tools related to Life Science commercial activities.
- Translating market feedback and insights into an evolved go-to-market plan.
- Working with Eko enterprise marketing to evolve marketing materials and execute marketing strategies and tactical plans.
- Aligning market needs with potential product enhancements to expand commercial opportunities.
As a Senior Director of Life Science Business Development at Eko, You Have:
- Bachelor or higher degree in a scientific field required.
- 8 plus years of experience at a pharmaceutical, medical device, or life science technology company.
- Experience introducing innovative new products into pharmaceutical clinical development and/or commercial applications.
- Strong track record of selling clinical technology into large, complex pharmaceutical organizations and CROs.
- Experience working in complex, dynamic, ambiguous environments with cross-functional product development teams
- Experience working with partners, including C-suite leaders and policy makers, or speaking to external audiences.
