Harbinger Motors Inc. is a Los Angeles-based electric vehicle manufacturer on a mission to transform the automotive and transportation industries, bringing to market EVs developed from the ground up to address the needs of the Medium Duty vehicle industry. This broad, and to date poorly addressed, market segment includes class 4 to 7 commercial delivery vehicles, RVs and utility vehicles, among others. Position Overview
As an intern working with Harbinger's Supply Chain team, you will gain hands-on experience in both long term and short-term Supply Chain strategies. You will gain insights and support various aspects of Direct, Indirect and CapEx Purchases as well as engage with various stakeholders, both internal and external to the Company.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of the automotive industry and work on real-world projects, making it a valuable experience in the field of Supply Chain. This internship is for the summer period, with dates flexible depending on school calendars.


    • Support Purchasing team in collaboration with engineering and supplier quality, identify potential suppliers that meet Harbinger's approved supplier criteria
    • Support a key set of suppliers within a commodity group, such as but not limited to: Structure, Chassis, Battery, Powertrain, Thermal, Electricals/ Electronics, ADAS etc
    • Support in executing strategic vision for sourcing of assigned commodities working closely with engineering team
    • Support NDA database
    • Support RFQ/RFP process for assigned commodities
    • Support in maintaining cost database for bill of material cost, tooling, and engineering design & services related Costs (NRE / EDT)

Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 required
    • Familiarity with basic supply chain principles
    • Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Prior work/intern/co-op experience in supply chain is preferred
    • Strong desire to ask questions, learn and contribute to the team
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Passion for attention to detail, ensuring all work is performed to a high standard and with a strong focus on quality
