Harbinger Motors Inc. is a Los Angeles-based electric vehicle manufacturer on a mission to transform the automotive and transportation industries, bringing to market EVs developed from the ground up to address the needs of the Medium Duty vehicle industry. This broad, and to date poorly addressed, market segment includes class 4 to 7 commercial delivery vehicles, RVs and utility vehicles, among others. Leveraging a foundation of proprietary, in-house developed vehicle technologies, Harbinger's first-of-its-kind EV platform will bring enhancements in vehicle performance, durability and operator comfort. Job Description
We are looking for ambitious first member of Harbinger's HR team. As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will work closely with the executives and hiring managers as we enter a new stage in our young company's growth. Your resonsibilites will include sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, assisting with candidate logistics, and onboarding new hires. As a very early member of Harbinger's Operations team, you will have an intergral part in shaping company culture as the team is set to double in size over the next year.
Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing candidates for a variety of open positions
- Schedule candidate phone screens and interviews, on-site and virtual
- Coordinate candidate interview logistics, including booking travel
- Onboard new hires
- Assist in running our intern program
- Learn about our business to the extent that enables you to speak intelligently about electric commercial vehicles with candidates and client groups
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 2-5 years of professional experience in human resources or technology
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to appropriately prioritize tasks
- Experience using Lever and Google Suite is highly preferred
- Ability to learn quickly on the job and work in a dynamic organization with rapidly changing needs
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, including senior management, on one-to-one basis and in groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to tackle additional challenges outside of normal job responsibilities
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
- Requires being onsite - remote work not considered

$60,000 - $100,000 a year
