ELEKS is looking for a Subject Matter Expert in Financial Practice with experience in ERP implementation.
ABOUT PROJECT
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Financial Practice to support the implementation of an ERP system (Workday, FDM). The SME will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment of financial functionalities by providing expertise in financial processes, system configuration, and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in financial operations and accounting
- Experience with major ERP systems (Workday is a plus)
- Experience in ERP implementation projects will be a strong plus
- In-depth knowledge of financial processes such as order to cash, procure to pay, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance/accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong business process analysis skills, with the ability to assess existing workflows and design optimized solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
- Self-driven and proactive approach to work, capable of managing tasks independently
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, ACCA) are a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a financial expert in the implementation of the ERP system, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders, including finance teams and external consultants, to design optimized solutions
- Provide guidance on system configuration, reporting, and integration of financial data
- Conduct gap analysis between current financial processes and ERP system capabilities
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within finance operations
- Set up and implement best practices for financial processes within the ERP system
- Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of the FDM to ensure accuracy and efficiency
