ELEKS Software Engineering & Development Office is looking for a Technical Lead (Java) in Argentina.
ABOUT PROJECT
We’re initiating a collaboration with a telecommunications operator on a project focused on developing payment and authentication solutions for marketplace clients.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience leading a development team of 5 or more members
- Hands-on development experience using a Java framework
- Experience in system design and creating design documentation in English for Java applications
- Proficient in Java coding for system development
- Experience with testing (Unit Test, Integration Test, and System Test), including test case creation and execution for Java applications
- Experience with GitLab for source control and development workflows
- Ability to proactively manage and track tasks, and regularly share updates on assignments and progress
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively in cross-cultural environments
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience developing systems related to authorization or payment processing
- Experience leading a development team of 10 or more members
- Experience in system development using AWS
- Experience in system development using OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications
- Lead QA efforts as necessary to ensure project quality and successful delivery
- Manage a team of developers, providing guidance and task assignments
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones
- Implement and enforce quality assurance practices to maintain high standards in deliverables
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and serve as the key communication bridge between teams
