ELEKS is looking for a Senior Data Scientist at Montreal, Canada, to join our growing Data & Analytics team. You’ll become a part of the team of professionals of leading global clients in finance, healthcare, and beyond.
Salary range – $80 000-143 000
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of practical experience as a Data Science Engineer
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangFlow, RAG pipelines.
- Deep understanding of conversational AI principles, including dialog management, fine-tuning, and model evaluation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform rapidly prototype and iterate on machine learning models
- Work with supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning
- Work with domain specific modelling challenges (e.g., LLMs, computer vision, time series)
- Fine-tuning LLM models
- Work closely with cross-functional colleagues
- Monitor and analyze the performance of models in production, and propose and implement improvements
