Element Biosciences is a multi-disciplinary startup focused on innovating genetic analysis tools for the research and clinical markets. The Company's technology will broaden the end user experience through improved data quality and simplified workflows to benefit discoveries and diagnosis in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, layout, bring up, test and trouble shoot printed circuit board assemblies
    • Bring systems through standard EMC certification testing
    • Work with other engineering teams such as systems, operations, and software and electrical engineering on system testing process and work flows

Requirements:

    • 4-6 years of work experience as an Electrical Engineer
    • Experience with printed circuit board development for mixed signals
    • Experience with EMC standards and certification testing required
    • Embedded system design experience is a plus
    • Microprocessor programming in C is a plus
    • FPGA design experience is a plus
    • Instrument design Experience is a big plus
    • Technical curiosity, good troubleshooting instincts required
    • Working knowledge of all standard EE lab equipment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
