The Role:
We’re looking for a versatile Head of Finance who can act as a partner to the executive team in taking Elevate Labs to the next level. In addition to owning Finance and Accounting, the Head of Finance will support investor relations, fundraising, and other strategic initiatives. 

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in startup environments and deep knowledge of finance. 

This is a fully remote position anywhere in North America.

How You'll Make an Impact Here:

    • Partner with the executive team to develop the financial strategy for the business
    • Own the financial model and lead KPI-driven financial planning and analysis (FP&A) 
    • Influence and coordinate with senior stakeholders to set and achieve the company’s annual and long-term goals
    • Partner with the executive team on fundraising and investor relations. Prepare financial materials, board presentations, investor updates, and share insights during meetings
    • Lead annual planning and report on performance relative to plan at company and department levels
    • Manage outsourced Accounting team to assist with the financial close process and variance analysis
    • Own option grant process, 409(a), etc. through Carta
    • Ensure Elevate Labs is compliant with GAAP, tax laws, and related requirements 


    • 7+ years of experience in Finance with emphasis on cross-functional leadership, forecasting, planning, and business partnership
    • Extensive experience building and maintaining financial models from scratch
    • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to deliver insights from financial data that contribute to company-level goals and guide decision-making
    • Ability to deliver strategic value to the business across various dimensions
    • Track record of influencing leadership decisions through clear communication and understanding of company-wide priorities
    • Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
    • Capability and willingness to roll up sleeves and drive tactical execution of large projects
    • Deep startup experience


    • Experience interacting with board members and other investors
    • Experience with financial analytics
    • Track record of recruiting excellent talent
    • A passion for meditation, mental wellness, or similar topics in the mental health space
