Purpose of Job
To ensure the cost and value is optimized and optimal for each assigned project
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- 1. Supplier engagement for the assigned new product development projects
- 1) Following the Sourcing & Supplier Base Strategy, assist the Project Sourcing head to select the proper supplier candidate(s) for each project, with the understanding of the project requirements
- 2) Work with the suppliers to select the proper primary packaging(component)/secondary packaging (carton/label,ect.) options, to get the project acceptance
- 3) Conduct supplier management to ensure project launch on time. Consolidate supplier related issue during project development and drive for supplier performance enhancement.
- 2. New product development projects
- 1) Assess the costing of entire product from TCO perspective to ensure high margin rate
- 2) Provide optimized project development proposals based on cost analysis at the initial stage in the project
- 3) Lead to promote the solution and margin per project target with project team (R&D, PE, Quality and NPI)
- 4) Achieve cost efficiency and value optimization by fully understanding cost driver and value in projects
- 3. Cost and value enhancement in PLM
- 1) Work with the cross functional teams to identify the cost improvement opportunities and drive the cost saving or improve the value to the consumers
- 2) Proactively manage PLM process, continuous proceed cost saving reduction and efficiency boost
- 3) Manage PPV and achieve the cost saving on value chain through the Cost Models optimization.
Education/Knowledge/Experience
- Minimum request:
- Bachelor's Degree or above in supply chain management, business administration
- Competency:
- Minimum 5+ years of purchasing & sourcing experience in FMCG, cosmetics, package or chemical industry
- Cost saving & manufactory background is a plus.
- Relevant knowledge demand:
- Good English speaking and presenting

- Good inter-personal skills and team player
