Job Summary
We're looking for a detail-obsessed, data-minded Digital Asset Management Intern (e.l.f.tern) to join the Creative Operations team at e.l.f. Beauty. As a Digital Cataloguer & Archivist, you’ll support the intake, organization, and accessibility of content from over 100+ photo shoots per year. You’ll learn the ins and outs of asset management, metadata tagging, and digital archiving, while working cross-functionally with teams across Creative, Production, and external partners. If you’re highly organized, type-A, and passionate about the photo industry and digital systems—this internship is for you.

Key Responsibilities
- Asset Ingestion & Archiving: Assist with ingesting, cataloging, and archiving all content from photo productions, ensuring proper transfer between the DAM system and internal servers.
- Metadata Management: Help ensure all content has accurate and complete usage rights, metadata, naming conventions, and associated documentation.
- Quality Control: Review and QC all incoming assets to ensure consistency in file format, naming, image dimensions, and color accuracy.
- Asset Requests: Assist with fulfilling internal and third-party asset requests, meeting image specifications and deadlines.
- Studio Organization: Help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the digital asset library and physical photo studio space.
- On-Set & Digital Support: Provide occasional on-set support and assist with digital workflow initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
- Relevant coursework or experience in Photography, Digital Asset Management, Computer Information Systems, or Creative Production
- Previous experience as a photo assistant, production assistant, digital tech, or in database management is a plus
- Proficient in industry-standard software: Photoshop, Bridge, Capture One, ChronoSync
- Familiarity with a wide range of asset types including images, video, vector files, and audio
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and a love for structured systems
- Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative environments
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects, both short- and long-term
- Passion for the creative process and understanding of visual asset management
$20 - $24 an hour
