Position Summary
This is a new e.l.f.tern request for a Sales Analyst Intern supporting our growing grocery channel. The e.l.f.tern will gain hands-on experience across a variety of critical business functions while collaborating cross-functionally and with our unique grocery retailers. From productivity analysis to business recaps to assortment reviews and digital deep dives, they’ll be immersed in projects that drive decision-making and channel growth. Their work will directly support the grocery team’s mission to lead with operational excellence, sharpen our competitive edge, and deliver value to our grocery partners. As they contribute to strategic priorities, they’ll gain a deeper understanding of account management, customer trends, and cross-functional collaboration within this unique channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute weekly sales reports with actionable insights and commentary.
- Conduct retail sales, consumer, and category reporting analysis, including tracking of new item and planogram performance.
- Lead ROI analysis on new programs and distribution opportunities.
- Leverage category insights to guide assortment decisions in partnership with space planning.
- Manage in-store merchandising programs from concept through execution.
- Oversee retailer item set-up and item maintenance.
- Monitor and report on competitive brand launches, programs, and events.
- Provide administrative support, including sending samples, completing listing forms, and coordinating requests.
- Manage retailer inquiries and visual merchandising aftercare requests.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to all customer information requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service orientation.
