Position Summary – Senior Sales Director, EMEA
The Senior Sales Director, EMEA will be a key member of the regional leadership team and will be responsible for defining and driving the overarching commercial strategy across the EMEA region for all e.l.f. Beauty brands. This individual will lead high-impact initiatives to accelerate market share, profitability, and retail performance while strengthening strategic relationships with key retailers. This role will manage a senior sales team across multiple markets and collaborate cross-functionally with global counterparts in New York and Oakland to deliver strong commercial outcomes and long-term growth.
 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Commercial Leadership
Define and own the EMEA retail growth strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives and local market needs.
Lead business planning and strategic forecasting across multiple channels and markets.
Identify and execute high-potential white space and expansion opportunities.

Team Leadership & Talent Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing EMEA sales organization, building capability across key account, trade marketing, and field sales functions.
Establish and embed high-performance culture with a focus on accountability, agility, and cross-market collaboration.

 Retailer Strategy & Negotiation
Strengthen executive-level partnerships with top retailers across EMEA to drive mutual value and long-term growth.
Oversee negotiation of commercial agreements, trading terms, and joint business plans with key retail partners.

P&L Ownership & Financial Management
Full ownership of the commercial P&L across the EMEA region, including sales revenue, trade margins, retail investments, and return on spend.
Deliver against quarterly and annual sales goals, margin targets, and cost-efficiency metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a key partner to global marketing, product, operations, and finance teams to ensure synchronized go-to-market execution.
Champion the voice of the EMEA retailer and consumer within global forums and planning cycles.

Innovation & Execution Excellence
Ensure new product launches and core assortment are executed flawlessly across all retail environments.
Optimize in-store presentation, POS materials, and promotional cadence in partnership with brand and trade marketing.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
 Minimum 10–12 years of progressive sales/commercial leadership in the beauty or FMCG industry, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role
 Proven track record of managing multi-market retail strategy across the EMEA region
Deep network and strong relationships with key EU and UK retailers in both mass and prestige channels
Fluency in English required;
Strong financial acumen with direct experience managing complex P&Ls
Inspirational leader with a track record of building high-performing teams and cultivating future leaders
Highly collaborative with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach
Willing and able to travel extensively across the EMEA region
