Ellie Mae Inc seeks a Sr. Engineer, Software UI in Pleasanton, CA.
Analyze, design, develop, and test software applications for features, modules, software enhancements and new products, using specifications and prototypes based on competitive market, customer requirements, business functionality and identifies tools, processes and technologies for problem resolution. Expertly able to analyze needs and requirements of existing and proposed systems. Develop technical specifications. Responsible for highly sensitive or critical problem determination. Diagnose complex developmental & operational problems and develop change management process. Recommend upgrades & improvements at a component level. Identify both benefits and detriments for proposed solutions. Maintain broad experienced-based understanding of business and impact of industry trends. Mentor junior engineers. Develop models of business functionality through prototyping. Participate in design and code review and code management. Identify improvements and new processes. Identify tools and processes for problem determination.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 5 years of experience. Requires 5 years of experience with computing infrastructure, including impacts on developmental and operational environments. 5 years of experience performing integration testing.
