Duties & Responsibilities

Qualification & Requirements
Develop Product components & modules.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
Implement performance and quality modules
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Perform peer code review of components & modules.
Assist in developing solution prototypes and technology evaluation
Acquire deeper knowledge of Technologies used in the Product.
Resolve integration/certification/production issues by collaborating with other teams
Identify areas of improvement in module development.
Support Operations on-site or off-site in monitoring production, to resolve production issues and developing tools
Assist in training & mentoring new team members through the “buddy” program (basic training only)
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
3+ years experience as a software engineer or equivalent
Proficient in C or C++ and demonstrate good coding practices
Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers
Familiarity with templating in C++
Knowledge of the latest C++11 standard is appreciated
Exposure to product development
Knowledge of image processing is an advantage
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Exposure to Test Driven Development is good to have
Exposure to Test Driven Development is good to have
