Ellie Mae Inc. seeks a Sr. Engineer, Software in Pleasanton, CA.

Develop, modify and unit test software applications in local, networked, or Internet-based software programs. Work under the guidance of Sr. Engineering resources. Perform code reviews and debug issues. Deliver high quality code on schedule. Collaborate closely with groups in and outside the development team (eg. QA, Product Management, UE, Tech Pub) to achieve high quality, predictable results. Mentor junior engineers on the team. Support production/technical support teams and help drive the production issues within the team.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 6 years of experience. 6 years of experience in designing and developing HTML5/JavaScript/CSS3 web applications. 5 years of experience with Agile methodology. 3 years of experience working with React, Angular, or Dojo. 6 years of experience working with modern web front-end and open source technologies. 6 years of experience working with emerging client-side dynamic Javascript libraries or MVVM pattern. 6 years of experience with responsive web design. 5 years of experience developing and/or using SOAP/REST web services. 6 years of experience in enterprise-scale multi-tier, distributed architecture. 6 years of experience in object-oriented design and programming concepts. 6 years of experience with high-scale, multi-tenant Web service development, including REST/JSON and MicroService patterns. 4 years of experience with SQL programming. 6 years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
