About the Role:

Embedded is actively seeking to hire a Clearing Sales Lead to establish the growth and revenue of our business. We are building a clearing and custody business from the ground up, and you will be responsible for signing on our early clients to the platform and building and growing our sales function. You will be the first sales and partnerships lead at Embedded and your network and entrepreneurial spirit will be an integral part of how we scale our business. This role has the option to be remote within the US or based in our Vancouver, Washington location.

What You'll Do

    • Lead the charge in introducing Embedded to potential correspondent clients
    • Oversee the sales cycle from prospecting to closing while partnering with other teams to ensure successful onboarding for our correspondents
    • Help drive the business revenue strategy by performing market and price analysis in coordination with CEO
    • Structure partnership strategies that accelerate business growth
    • Build a sales department from scratch
    • Develop pitch decks for various types of correspondents and evolve them over time
    • Manage and grow our sales pipeline
    • Be an ambassador for the Embedded mission, beliefs, brand, and products

Minimum Qualifications

    • 10+ years of experience in business development, strategy, partnerships or sales
    • A proven track record independently developing and delivering powerful strategy and winning clients
    • Strategic perspective and out of the box thinking
    • A passion for innovation in the clearing and custody space, you are able to articulate the history of correspondent clearing firms and inform prospective clients about the Embedded mission and product vision
    • A drive for revenue growth and business innovation
    • A deep understanding of FinTech GTM strategies and SaaS business models
    • Comprehensive knowledge of pricing and revenue drivers
    • Extensive experience with commercial contracts and negotiations, especially in the FinTech space
    • Strong relationships in the financial services industry (solid FinTech network is a major bonus)
    • A deep understanding of the end to end sales process including experience working with the business to evolve product offerings, ensure revenue growth and scale
    • A high EQ, you are humble, enjoy working at all levels, and respectful towards peers and prospective clients
    • Hard work ethic - you have a drive to succeed

    • Previous experience working in product or operations for a correspondent clearing firm
    • Series 7, 24, 63
