What you'll do:

    • Cultural Advocacy: Play a pivotal role in fostering a data-centric culture within the operations team, advocating for the importance of data-driven decision-making and promoting data literacy among team members.
    • Supply Chain Optimization: Reimagine and drive the performance of Emma's supply chain and fulfillment operations, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in managing a billion-euro business.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various cross-functional operations teams including planning, sourcing, transportation, warehousing, last mile, and customer support to develop data products that improve the quality and efficiency of the entire supply chain and fulfillment process.
    • Data Integrity and Consistency: Partner with data engineering and product teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across the operations domain, guaranteeing reliable insights for decision-making.
    • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Build, lead, and mentor a team of 6-8 analytics engineers, business analysts, and data scientists, focusing on the operations domain. Provide guidance and support to develop their skills and expertise in driving data-driven initiatives.

Who we are looking for:

    • Standardization and Optimization: Demonstrated successes in standardizing and optimizing Business Intelligence Data Architecture to ensure scalability and efficiency in data operations.
    • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in building dashboards with Tableau or Power BI, SQL, and Python. Additional automation and programming skills are a plus, enabling the automation of processes for improved efficiency.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to understand stakeholder and business requirements across all levels of the organization, from top management to the daily operational layer, and translate them into actionable insights and solutions.
    • Operational Expertise: Demonstrated successes across complex multidivisional operations, with quantifiable results showcasing improvements across processes, operations, and spend categories.
    • Collaborative Approach: Ability to work collaboratively across functions, synthesizing multiple points of view into a streamlined action plan that drives tangible results.
    • Analytical Acumen: High analytical ability and drive to gather and interpret data beyond the surface level, enabling the development, recommendation, and implementation of sustainable solutions to operational challenges.
    • Proactive Problem-Solving: Proven track record for anticipating issues and implementing processes/standards to address them before they occur, with the ability to adjust strategies on the move to ensure continued success.
    • Leadership Experience: Experience leading high-performing teams is a must, demonstrating the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower team members to achieve their full potential and drive impactful outcomes.

    • Leadership Requirement:
    • Leadership skills are a must for this role. You will be expected to inspire and guide your team through challenging circumstances, foster a collaborative and innovative environment, and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive alignment and progress.
