This position is primarily responsible for providing a variety of technical services including startup, commissioning, installation, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repairs and emergency service on HVAC and refrigeration equipment related to comfort cooling, computer rooms and other critical environments.

This position reports to Service Manager who is physically located at our Henderson, NV branch office.

-24/7 On-Call position

 

·        Inspects machines and equipment to ensure they are performing to manufacturer specifications.

·        Ensures the use of prescribed safety equipment such as glasses, hard hat, respirators, clothing, fall protection and other required equipment.

·        Prepares service reports within the internal ERP system of work completed, and when applicable, makes recommendations for corrective action.

·        Coordinates start and stop time with branch dispatcher for each call.

·        Organizes all work detail (work performed, service recommendations, etc.) and completes an accurate service ticket within the internal ERP system for billing purposes.

·        Record on service ticket and communicate to vendor an appropriate purchase order number when purchasing job-related parts and supplies.

·        Accurately record time for payroll purposes.

·        Keep an accurate van and job inventory within the internal ERP system.

·        Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and manage the service vehicle’s maintenance requirements.

 

·        Five or more years of Commercial HVAC system experience is a must and critical environment, and data center experience is preferred. 

·        Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization

·        Must be able to work independently and in a team-based environment.

·        Must be able to work outside of regular business hours which will include nights and weekends as well as participate in an on-call rotation schedule. 

·        Willingness to travel on an as needed basis.

·        Experience with Acumatica (internal ERP system) is a plus.

·        Electrical knowledge and experience are a plus.

·        Hydronic Systems experience is a plus.

·        Air and water-cooled chiller experience is a plus.
