Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital, located in beautiful Medina, OH is now hiring for a dual position, Veterinary Assistant & Veterinary Receptionist. Position is part time to full time.

We offer our client’s a variety of services intended to promote our patient's overall health and longevity. Our top priority is to provide the best medical and surgical care for all of our patients using a progressive and comprehensive approach. We advocate for the total health, well-being, enjoyment and quality of life of our animal patients through client service and education. Our 14,000 square foot facility was renovated in 2016 and is equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, endoscopy, in-house labs, therapeutic laser, ultrasound and a comprehensive canine rehabilitation center.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

Work directly with our doctors, technicians, clients and pets in our exam rooms and treatment area. It requires experience in the following areas; feeding and medicating multiple species, patient history collection, client education, animal restraint, filling prescriptions, x-ray positioning and laboratory sample collection. Being a team player and good communication skills are as important as technical skills. You will also be expected to assist in stocking and the overall cleanliness of the hospital. 

You will be expected to go above and beyond for every customer, to be kind, compassionate and empathetic during all conversations and interactions, provide top notch customer service, handle incoming phone calls on a multiline phone system, greet clients and their pets, keep reception and waiting area tidy and utilize practice software to organize information and process payment.
