Grace Animal Hospital is ready to hire a part-time Veterinary Assistant to help support our fast-growing needs! What we are looking for!
 
Responsibilities and Skills for this job title will include, but are not limited to:
·       A love for animals and a passion for the veterinary field
·       Leading scheduled appointments and surgical intakes with clients
·       Helping doctors with educating clients through medical plans and treatments
·       Care of assigned hospitalized patients
·       Exhibits knowledge of medications, foods, and products within the hospital
·       Anesthesia monitoring (along with blood draws, IV cath placement, etc.)
·       Assistance with surgical procedures
·       Dental prophy procedures
·       Communication with office staff and client/patient relations
·       Supporting a positive work environment
 
Education and Experience:
Veterinary Assistant Certification preferred
Two years of work experience preferred
Applicants with work experience, but that have not completed educational requirements will be considered on an individual basis.
