We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a full-time Veterinary Technician Supervisor in our Patient Care Department. Our Patient Care Technician Supervisors are tasked with leading our emergency/hospitalization support staff in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).  To be considered, you must already possess a mastery of most veterinary emergency and critical care technical skills. Your primary role is facilitating the flow and efficiency of our urgent care/hospitalization team and the care of their patients. You will also be expected to take on more leadership responsibilities including training and mentoring of support staff, participation in inter-departmental meetings and discussions, and responding to the dynamic needs of patient care within the hospital.  
 
Candidates with specialty in E/CC are preferred and you must have a current veterinary technician credential (LVT, CVT, RVT) in any state, or be eligible to apply. The ability to work an average of 45 hours a week, a willingness to work additional shifts when necessary and rotating on-call will also be required. 
 
Internal candidates must be endorsed by a Patient Care Supervisor and the Patient Care Manager, then approved by the Emergency Practice Manager and Hospital Director.
