Friendship Hospital for Animals is seeking a motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or technician with comparable experience for a full time or part time position. The ideal candidate will be a positive individual with experience in specialty veterinary medicine and small animal anesthesia. As an excellent multi-tasker and a team player, we are seeking a candidate with strong communication skills, is compassionate, and focuses on excellent customer service and patient care.

Skills and Qualifications:

    • Assisting board-certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist in routine office visits including obtaining pertinent patient histories, vitals and weights

    • Care and surgical procedures; including monitoring anesthesia and providing pre- and post-op care for patients.

    • Assistance in routine diagnostics such electroretinography, ocular ultrasound, and labwork collection

    • Diagnostic procedures such as diamond bur keratotomies
