Coral Spring's Animal Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. Are you a pet-loving, proactive problem solver with a diverse maintenance background?
The maintenance technician is responsible for routine maintenance and repair of building and facility, grounds, equipment, and appliances.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Groundskeeping
- Parking lot maintenance
- Building surroundings
- Dumpster areas
- Window cleaning/maintenance (in/outside)
- General building maintenance
- Air filters
- Drains
- Plumbing
- Minor electrical
- Cage/furniture
- Equipment
- Washers and dryers
- Central vacuum system
- Autoclaves
- Oxygen kennels
- Oxygen tanks
- working with outside vendors
- some on-call for emergencies (plumbing, HVAC)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in commercial building maintenance and repair
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Must be comfortable working around animals.
- Experience in a veterinary environment preferred but not required.
$50,000 - $60,000 a year
salary is based on skills and experience.
