Energy Recovery, Inc. is seeking a talented Refrigeration Application Engineer to join our dynamic CO2 Business unit, with the flexibility to work remotely within Europe. In this full-time role, you’ll play a crucial part in bridging the gap between our external customers and internal teams, reporting directly to the Account Manager, CO2.
As a key technical advisor and product advocate, you’ll collaborate closely with our sales, R&D, manufacturing, and product management teams. Your expertise will help build best practices in product application, ensuring that our innovative solutions meet the needs of our customers.

What Will You Do?
- Provide technical support to sales team, OEM’s, end-users and internal departments
- Evaluate the needs of the customer and provide technical solutions best fit the company’s portfolio
- Actively engage with customers to gather and comprehend their needs and requirements
- Support sales teams and their clients on product technical details & application requirements
- Provide accurate information and calculations in relation to each sales order
- Support product development in developing new and/or products by communicating market trends, and issues in the marketplace
- First point of engineering contact to assist field and customer service personnel in answering product and application questions
- Serve as the technical interface Energy Recovery product management and OEM product management teams
- Support OEM manufacture's in implementing Energy Recovery CO2 products into their product design and specifications
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to support resolution of quality Issues
- All other duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Table:
- BS in Engineering or Applicable Technical Degree
- 7 years direct experience Supermarket/Industrial application or design
- Ability to clearly present technical information to customers internal and external
- Extensive knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems preferred
- CO2 commercial/industrial knowledge a bonus
- Deep knowledge of refrigerant properties and PH diagram analysis
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and some working knowledge of AutoCAD systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with key stakeholders, vendors, and customers
- Any European language(s) and English level C1, CECRL (TOEIC or equivalent)
