Market leader is seeking a business consultant with Commercial Banking lending or credit underwriting or Retail Banking experience looking for a ground-floor opportunity to be the next great consulting firm dedicated to deploying FinTech solutions into traditional banking environments. Ability to contribute in a team atmosphere, work across multiple active projects, solve problems independently and meet rigid deadlines within our quality standards. The Banking Implementation Consultant participates in all stages of the nCino banking application implementation (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support), and may lead one or more activities. Project responsibilities include; gathering client requirements, configuring the bank operating solution to meet documented client requirements, setting and managing client expectations, providing guidance to Associate Consultants, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.

In summary, the Banking Implementation Consultant will help move customer's core banking processes to nCino’s cloud application leveraging the power and security of the Salesforce platform to deliver a complete banking solution. 


    • Manage implementation process which includes collaborative consultation with the client, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, unit and integration testing, training and full deployment
    • Document/validate banking business requirements and map to the financial services functionality
    • Provide oversight to configuration of loan origination process
    • Conduct consulting sessions (phone/in-person) and document with meeting minutes
    • Attend internal project meetings and provide status on activities and deliverables
    • Provide clients with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of commercial loan origination expertise
    • Be a “go-to” resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external users
    • Apply functional and technical expertise to effectively execute requirements definition, solution design, configuration, unit and integration testing, training and full deployment
    • Consult and advise clients through the implementation process on best practices that maximize value and return on investment
    • Collaborate with the project team, internal partners, external client, and third parties to ensure the successful delivery of the application
    • Responsible for managing the integrity, accuracy, and maintenance of data
    • Provide customer with training as needed


    • Must Have eligibility to work in U.S. without sponsorship
    • Technical
    • 3 years of commercial lending or commercial credit underwriting experience working in a bank or credit union; with significant experience with loan processing and origination OR 5 years of retail banking or retail credit underwriting working in a bank or credit union; with significant experience with loan processing, origination and compliance
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting, or computer science
    • Experience with one or more of the following applications: Salesforce, CreditQuest, BakerHill, Precision Lender, Moddy’s, Misys, nCino (preferred)
    • Experience with software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment (preferred)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Knowledge & Skills

    • Experience with commercial banking loan process, including workflow, processes, and documentation requirements
    • General understanding of US banking regulations and governance; bank compliance
    • Ability to engage with multiple projects & clients at the same time and manage priorities
    • Ability to lead and facilitate client workshops and sessions through application demonstrations and training
    • Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed on a limited basis
    • Desire and ability to thrive as a detail-oriented team player who can work with minimal supervision
