Location

-Fort Collins, Northern Colorado Area. REQUIRED

Education

-Associates degree and/or accounting certificate and/or relevant industry work experience

Experience

-3-5  years of experience in Corporate Accounting, with preference to small company/start-up, entrepreneurial enterprises 
-3-5 years experience processing and managing payroll
-Demonstrated attention to detail, time management skills, ability to prioritize, and adapt to change
-Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
-Desire to be a self-starter who will see opportunities to add value beyond an assignment and will run projects through to completion
-Critical thinking skills and ability to modify procedures or resources to fit the needs of the task or situation
-Willingness to perform under pressure when deadlines call for swift action
-Capable of learning and recalling important job functions and processes that may occur infrequently
-Ability to multitask without sacrificing accuracy
-Collaborative and effective in working with different leadership styles and a variety of individuals at all levels within the organization
-Ability to learn multiple software programs
-Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
-Experience serving in an accounting position within a professional services environment is preferred
-QuickBooks a plus

Position Responsibilities

-Ensure all financial records and statements are in line with laws, regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).  Must also resolve any discrepancies or irregularities in records, statements, or documented transactions
-Provide monthly reporting, including posting journal entries
-Create and maintain purchasing processes and documentation
-Vendor account management
-Completing monthly, quarterly, and year end close, on time and in an accurate manner
-Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including collections
- Following progress of fixed assets to prepare depreciation schedules
-Retaining historical records through the accurate filing of documents
-Studying and implementing federal, state, and local legal requirements, filing reports, and communicating with management on needed actions
-Work with the CFO on producing the trial balance and financial statements, including, but not limited to, balance sheet and statements of income and of cash flows
-Reconciling bank and general ledgers
-Prepare bank reconciliations
-Manage and process payroll
-Prepare annual form 1099
-Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and analysis relating to accounting information
-Provide other miscellaneous or basic accounting related tasks


ISO/BMS Responsibilities:

-Understand and practice all requirements of EN ISO 13485, ISO 13485, BMS Manual, Process Flows and Work Instructions. 62304 a plus
-Comply with applicable regulatory requirements (including but not limited to MDSAP participating countries and CE Marking).
-Participate in Internal and External audits.

Compensation

-Annual Salary Range: $70K to $90K depending on experience
-Annual Bonus of 5% of base salary
