The Hoxton Paris is looking for its People & Culture Manager!
 
The Hoxton, Paris found a home in an 18th century building in the 2nd arrondissement, with 172 rooms, a restaurant, a wine bar, 2 terraces, a speakeasy bar, a lobby-café and event spaces.
 
Like the doors of our hotel, our minds are wide open. Designed by the UK's Ennismore Group, The Hoxton hotels are inspired by the diversity and uniqueness of their surroundings with lively, welcoming public spaces and monthly events that aim to bring local stakeholders together.
 
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be a real support in the day-to-day management of Human Resources.
 
You will be able to contribute naturally to the cohesion and team spirit of the organization thanks to your personality and your innovative and ideas.
 
You will be forming a duo with Juliette, our People Coordinator.

What you'll do

    • Be a true partner to the business for anything in relation with looking after our teams, providing advice & guidance.
    • Implement and manage our policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring we are in compliance with local employment law in all areas.
    • Position our brand as an employer of choice through effective recruitment strategies that attract talent and build a talent pool for effective succession planning within the business.
    • Work with heads of department on putting in place development opportunities & paths for the team, with input from our Director of L&D.
    • Keep the culture of the hotel alive by embedding The Hoxton values, promoting a fair, safe and inclusive environment and leading initiatives that engage and empower the team.
    • Drive our talent review process from coffee chats, annual reviews through to talent and career management.
    • Lead activities under “Do More”, our global initiative to work with local charities & community projects in the cities we call home.
    • Support managers on employee relations and performance management cases.
    • Work with the central team on European/Global projects and rollouts. We want to hear your ideas and get your input on how to design effective initiatives.

What we're looking for...

    • You have at least 3 to 4 years experience in Human Resources with a solid knowledge of the CCN of the Hotel and Catering industry (HCR)
    • You speak other languages - French and English at least
    • You’re passionate about bringing out the best in other people and are full of ideas you want to try in achieving that goal.
    • Experience dealing with legal and performance issues.
