This is an exciting time at Enovix! We are looking for experienced candidates to help support our new 50,000 square-feet lithium-ion battery production facility in Fremont, California for commercialization of our 3D Silicon™ Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery.
Job Summary:
Enovix is seeking a Customer Applications Engineer. This individual will be responsible for the technical customer interface. The objective is to design-in Enovix products and support the customer’s needs technically through the entire business relationship. This person will also introduce and support new products into and through the Enovix development and manufacturing process to produce customer specific Enovix’ industry leading 3D Silicon batteries. This technical professional will manage and ensure customer requirements and Enovix’ business needs are met.
Responsibilities:
· Support the sales effort in the US region and act as the technology resource for the Enovix sales team and the customers in the territory
· Provide technical support to customer both pre and post sales
· Manage the interface between the customer and the Enovix technical teams
· Translate customer requirements into product deliverables for the New Product Introduction and Product Engineering Teams
· Develop and maintain documents for designs and write application notes on specific areas of expertise or case studies
· Prepare and manage updates and communications with customers regarding program status
· Interface with marketing, business development, and research teams as needed to support program needs
· Align customer requirements to product capabilities and identify development gaps
· Assist in quotations in design specific information and proposals
· Maintain knowledge on industry and application trends
Qualifications:
· At least BS degree in science or engineering
· 5-10 years experience in a technology company scaling up new products and designs
· Experience above in a battery company is highly desired
· Intimate knowledge of battery performance and safety behavior
· Experience working with customers to successfully qualify new battery products
· Experience working in consumer electronics would be highly desirable
· Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills
· Eligible to work in the United States
$86,000 - $180,000 a year
