We are looking for an Experienced Web Developer / Frontend Engineer to join our growth marketing team. In this role, you will fully own the development and maintenance of our primary website, with the possibility of expanding ownership to multiple web properties. Your expertise will play a crucial role in delivering flawless, high-performing websites that drive business growth and optimize user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of your assigned website(s), ensuring exceptional performance, usability, and scalability.
- Manage and prioritize incoming tickets and requests from cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, legal, and product.
- Develop and implement mobile-first, responsive designs with attention to pixel-perfect detail.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize for conversion rates and ensure alignment with growth objectives.
- Work closely with design teams to bring complex and engaging designs to life, including animations and interactive elements.
- Maintain a high standard for QA and testing to ensure flawless execution of webpages.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve website performance and functionality.
- Implement and manage tracking & analytics tools, such as Google Tag Manager.
- Stay up-to-date with modern web development trends and best practices to bring innovative solutions to the table.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on modern frameworks and tools.
- Experience working on or closely with marketing teams, including familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
- Proficiency in Webflow is a must.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and familiarity with Lottie animations.
- SaaS or consumer-focused experience is required; experience in high-growth startups is preferred.
- Knowledge of Marketo for marketing automation, Figma for collaborating on design handoffs and Google Tag Manager for analytics and event tracking implementation is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders.
- A mobile-first mindset with a deep understanding of responsive design principles.
- High attention to detail, with a track record of publishing flawless webpages and shipping complex designs quickly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative attitude.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools and methodologies for experimentation.
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they intersect with web development.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
