Entrata is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative CorpTech team at our HQ in Lehi, Utah. As a Senior Software Engineer on the CorpTech team, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of custom software solutions tailored for internal teams such as Sales, Accounting, People team, and more. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of complex software systems supporting various business units. Responsibilities

    • Lead design, development, and testing of software components, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product managers and other engineering teams within the CorpTech suite, to define and refine software requirements and specifications.
    • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
    • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
    • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to custom software, providing timely solutions and troubleshooting assistance for internal teams.
    • Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selections for CorpTech projects, driving innovation and evolution of our internal software platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming and design.
    • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, PHP, etc.
    • Experience with web application development and related technologies.
    • Solid understanding of software development principles, version control, and agile methodologies.
    • Ability to work onsite a few days a week at our HQ in Lehi, Utah.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and contributing to Agile practices.
    • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.
    • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
    • Previous experience in the real estate or property management software industry.
