Responsibilities will include
- Write, review and implement efficient, readable, testable, reliable code for a highly scalable cloud environment..
- Work closely with the Architects guild on identifying technical patterns and contribute on a strategy to enhance overall efficiency.
- Be active participants in conversations between several teams, advice and drive improvements to practices, processes, goals and strategies.
- Should be owning quality and customer value of features in its own product and helps in improving the quality of work done.
- Identify and put inputs in to solve the worst bottlenecks that affect overall productivity and efficiency across teams.
- Be a part in refining user stories, adhere to architectural and coding standards, take on a gradually growing number of story points per sprint, and predictably complete them at a high quality despite barriers.
- Utilizing engineering best practices & view solutions with the end user in mind
Minimum Qualifications
- Min.2+ Years of experience in selenium
- Should have a thorough knowledge of test methodologies, test planning, test management using standard tools.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Design and the Page Object Model of automation
- Understanding the flow of code and how it progresses through the SDLC
- The ability to recognize potential risks and errors in an application.
- Expertise in test automation tools (Selenium, Java / Python)
- Knowledge in Maven, Docker, Git and Github, API testing and microservices.
- Familiar with Continuous Integration and how automated testing is incorporated
- Ability to debug code and resolve code, provide best-suited advice in avoiding errors in code.
- Hands-on exposure to automation coding and frameworks, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Should have worked in an agile environment and scrum methodology.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in automation development is preferred.
- Experience of working with deployment teams, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
- Exposure to SQL, PostgreSQL
- Experience of working closely with development and business teams.
