We're seeking an experienced Director of Product to join our Data Intelligence team. In this role, you will focus on data analytics, shaping the future of our software products through advanced data insights and driving growth with enterprise customers.
As the Director of Product, you will lead strategic initiatives, oversee world-class software releases, and deliver exceptional value to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams in the end-to-end product development lifecycle, with a focus on integrating advanced data analytics capabilities to enhance user experiences and streamline processes.
- Manage a team of Product Managers owning the deliverables for the data intelligence platform.
- Define and communicate a data-centric product vision, strategy, and roadmaps that align with business objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful execution of product plans, emphasizing enterprise clients.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify new data-driven opportunities and features.
- Evangelize the product internally and externally, presenting revenue-enabling capabilities to stakeholders, customers, and at industry events.
- Drive agile development methodologies, continuous improvement, and iterative release cycles for data-focused products.
- Monitor product performance metrics, analyze user behavior, and gather insights to inform product enhancements.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging data analytics technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in our products.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a higher education degree in business, law, or a related field.
- 4+ years managing product or technical teams
- 6+ years of experience in product management or related roles within the software industry.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Proven ability to navigate enterprise companies purchasing software.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing data software products.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data insights and make informed decisions.
- Experience with Power BI, DOMO, or similar business intelligence (BI) tools for data visualization and analysis.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools.
- Previous experience working with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams and enterprise customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a software engineer or related role within the software industry.
- Experience with data or BI as a product offering.
- MBA.
