Entrata, a cutting-edge provider of property management software, is seeking a talented Manager of Product Design to lead our Product Design team in Pune, India. As the manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering intuitive designs that are aligned with the needs of our clients in the real estate industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of passionate designers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape the future of Entrata’s product portfolio.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
- Ensure consistency and coherence across Entrata’s product portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.
- Translate user research findings and business requirements into intuitive, user-centered design solutions.
- Create information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to communicate design concepts and guide development efforts.
- Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization.
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Product Design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Expertise in human centered design thinking.
- Proficiency designing and prototyping in Figma.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop a design team.
- Strategic thinking abilities to align design goals with business objectives.
- Experience managing design budgets and resources.
- Strong conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with metrics-driven design and evaluating the impact of design changes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology or a related field.
- Experience in the real estate or property management industry.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and designing for inclusivity.
- Expertise in metrics-driven design and evaluating the impact of design changes.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Slack, Loom, or Jira.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
