As a valued member of our esteemed Midwest team, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying, nurturing, and cultivating both new and existing business sales relationships with property management companies.
The successful candidate will be based in Chicago, IL, and have the flexibility to work remotely from the comfort of their home office. This position involves occasional local and regional travel, as well as active participation in local and regional apartment associations.
In addition, you'll have the opportunity to periodically visit Entrata headquarters in Utah and attend national trade shows and events.
Responsibilities will include:
- Identify potential customers and drive lead generation and conversion.
- Initiate contact with new and existing customers to engage in meaningful discussions about their needs.
- Skillfully emphasize the features of our products, demonstrating how they effectively address customer challenges.
- Provide comprehensive answers to customer inquiries about our products.
- Engage in price negotiations and agreement preparation.
- Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across various sectors.
- Maintain organized contact lists and proactively follow up with customers to nurture long-lasting relationships.
Qualifications:
- Possess 3-5 years of experience in technology/software sales, including SaaS, PaaS, enterprise software, etc.
- While a deep understanding of the multifamily industry is helpful, it is not mandatory.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree.
- Exhibit a genuine passion for sales, adeptness in presenting, skill in negotiating, and proficiency in closing business deals.
- Demonstrate an innate ability to foster client relationships.
- Showcase ambition, assertiveness, confidence, honesty, and unwavering discipline.
- Exhibit exceptional social intelligence, enabling you to forge high-quality, enduring relationships with both clients and colleagues.
- Validate your sales prowess with a proven track record of success.
- Be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
