Purpose
This role provides Envato with digital content evaluation expertise, consultation and project assistance relating to the improvement, development and quality of the Envato Market library.
Your special focus? It's all about the art of evaluating WordPress Themes and other code-based assets, with an extra dash of emphasis on the delightful world of web design and development. Think HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, eCommerce, and more – you'll get to play with all these fantastic technologies.

What would I work on specifically?
Key Duties & Responsibilities.
●Evaluation of marketplace submissions according to Envato’s requirements (reviewing).
●Review items against technical specifications and industry standards.
●Provide helpful feedback on item reviews, particularly rejections, to assist content creators in the authoring process.
●Work with the Review team to ensure marketplace library quality standards.
●Provide client support on marketplace items and provide feedback based on requirements and standards.
●Provide authors with necessary additional feedback on item reviews to help them understand the review process and/or what is required for them to get their item(s) accepted to Envato’s marketplaces.
●Assist with special projects and tasks to improve, evolve and maintain Review Team documentation and marketplace library standards.
●Research and maintain quality standards and technical requirements.
●Provide assistance with or lead in projects relating to media expertise.
●Periodically check specific review team’s review quality according to requirements.

What will get my foot in the door?
Required Technical Skills/Experience
If you have:
●Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
●Strong working knowledge of WordPress,
●Knowledge of WordPress plugins and other major CMS and eCommerce platforms such as Drupal, Joomla, Shopify, etc
●Strong working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS SQL/MySQL and other standard web technologies
●Strong working knowledge of modern web design practices and current web standards and “good practices”
●Experience in cross-browser testing.
●Working understanding of design principles used in web applications.
●Strong working knowledge in all major modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Opera, etc.) and web applications.
