About the role
We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Search and Content Domain at Envato. This is a unique floating role that will be instrumental in shaping solutions and concepts across three interconnected product teams. Partnering closely with each of the three Product Managers, you will drive in-depth analysis of potential solutions, concepts, and cross-team dependencies. Your customer-centric approach will be key as you act as a crucial bridge between these teams, facilitating efficient discovery of solution options that enhance the end-to-end customer experience. You will contribute to informed decisions on product viability and customer value, effectively extending the capacity of our Product Management function.
About the teams
In this floating role, you'll work across three specialised teams in our Find Experience area:
- Team A - Search Experience: Focused on understanding user queries and making searching effortless. You'll work on capabilities around query understanding, enhancements, and multimodal search experiences.
- Team B - Browse Experience: Centered on item relationships and easy navigation. You'll support capabilities around asset families, related assets, and site categorisation.
- Team C - Assess & Get Experience: Concentrating on asset assessment and customisation. You'll help with capabilities around previews, item details, and asset customisation at download.
You will also collaborate with two platform teams to help facilitate solutions and bring our desired outcomes to life.
What you'll be doing - Design Phase (Primary role)
- Facilitating solution design activities across multiple teams.
- Identifying service, system, and team dependencies, and critical paths.
- Exploring a broad range of potential solutions with product development teams.
What you'll be doing - Other phases (Supporting role)
- Explore Phase: Supporting opportunity assessment, problem understanding, preliminary concept development, and facilitating cross-team discovery sessions.
- Define Phase: Validating requirements with stakeholders and customers, and managing key dependencies between teams and systems.
- Deliver Phase: Assisting with solution refinement during implementation and helping to resolve cross-team dependencies.
About you
- A product-centric Business Analyst comfortable with various levels of abstraction, from strategy to detailed requirements.
- Proven ability to identify dependencies between teams and facilitate solution options.
- Excited by fast-paced technology, new AI tools, spotting opportunities, and leveraging cutting-edge tech.
- Naturally curious and able to dig deeper to understand problems.
- Skilled at identifying and navigating dependencies across multiple teams and systems.
- Takes a product and customer-centric approach to business analysis.
- Able to drive alignment across different teams and stakeholders.
- Focuses on outcomes rather than just agile process optimisation.
- A strong facilitator who can build shared understanding across cross-functional groups.
- Balances analytical thinking with creative problem-solving.
