Enveda is looking for an Assistant Vice President, ADME to join our team in Hyderabad, India.

The contribution you will make:
We are looking for an AVP, ADME with a demonstrated track record of setting up ADME functions in a fast-growing Drug Discovery and Development Company. You will collaborate and work closely with medicinal chemistry and pharmacology leaders and help them rapidly advance pipeline projects.

As a member of the broader Drug Discovery team, you will report to the SVP, Developmental Sciences.

You get to collaborate on

    • The broader ADME contributions to various pipeline projects
    • Understand ADME-SAR and guide chemistry towards improving druggability
    • Design DMPK strategy and implementation plan
    • Collaborate with safety assessment group (in need basis) on study design 
    • Design tailor made ADME protocols for various projects
    • Collate data and prepare presentations for internal and external meetings
    • Method validations and analytical troubleshooting; Data generation, compilation, report preparation; Lab notebook, record keeping; SOP writing
    • Management towards optimizing utilization of lab resources
    • Keeping a track of FTE utilization in projects
    • Keep track of CAPEX and OPEX requirements of the lab
    • Manage and maintain laboratory instruments properly
    • Guide people/team on planning and execution of work and SOP writing 
    • Guide people/team towards developing required skill set to execute day to day activities in various projects
    • Mentor juniors and train them on ongoing assays and technologies 
    • Should make sure that team follows ethical guidelines towards assay validation, data analysis, recording experiments, updating the data and maintenance.
    • Prepare regular project updates and share with DMPK team management.
    • Provide analytical department updates weekly, monthly to senior management.

Who will thrive in this role?

    • Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences
    • 15-20 years of post-PhD experience  
    • Proven track record of planning and procurement of instruments and materials for efficient functioning of ADME group. 
    • Strong understanding of department safety for the external/internal safety audits.
