What’s in it for you? 

You will join Equativ at a key moment as we start our Japan operations and set up the founding team for the market. You will be a critical member to spearhead our local ad operations force in order to help shape the future of Equativ Japan!

Key responsibilities(Account management /60%)

    • Strong technical knowledge of ad operations systems, DSPs, SSPs, and ad servers
    • Proven track record of managing ad trafficking, campaign delivery, and optimization for programmatic advertising campaigns, ideally within a DSP or media-buying environment
    • Experience managing complex projects, ideally involving technical integrations, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration
    • Support our curators (programmatic resellers) on executing their briefs and liaise with internal supply team to get inventory for the campaign to be delivered
    • Oversee post-sale process, including but not limited to: campaign set-up, pacing and delivery, incremental revenue generation, and post-campaign analysis
    • Communicate with clients proactively in terms of campaign performance and work on incremental revenue generation and post-campaign analysis
    • Co-conduct with our sales team on QBRs with clients to drive client satisfaction
    • Identify, recruit and manage a team of ad operations executives

Traffic management incl. trading and troubleshooting (40%)

    • Become the initial curation platform expert through in-depth knowledge of the tool’s features and capabilities as well as knowledge you will transfer to your team
    • Trade and optimize on campaign needs and execute to hit client KPIs
    • Respond to urgent trading needs from clients and support them to identify the first level of troubleshooting issues and liaise with support teams for in-depth troubleshooting

About you

    • Strong programmatic setup and troubleshooting knowledge
    • Hands on DSP experience (especially DV360, TTD) is required; Japanese DSP experience is a strong plus 7+ years experience in ad operations (set up, troubleshooting, optimization) with a proven track record in creating new delivery set ups and consistently meeting or exceeding goals
    • Strong collaborative and cooperative mindset that can work with cross functional teams
    • A team player, a quick thinker and a fast learner to pick up the industry nuances
    • Good knowledge of digital media, advertising technology and emerging trends 
    • Existing network in Japanese agencies or supply-side is desired
    • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
    • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
    • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization in both native Japanese and business level English
