Location: Esper HQ in Austin, Texas (Hybrid)

Esper is looking for an experienced Lead Product Designer to help drive this mission forward.
Job Description:
As the Lead Product Designer, you are ultimately responsible for the product design lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with a wide cast of characters across the company, from executive leadership and engineering to professional services. You thrive on walking away from “what if we did this” conversations and coming back with designs that help bring our ideas to life. Like all great designers, you’re hyper-organized and have an eye for detail. What you'll do:
- Take new product ideas from concepts to implementation
- Own the development and ongoing maintenance of design library that can be referenced by all stakeholders in the company
- Approach design challenges holistically, considering all parts of the user experience including copy, animations, UI, business, and legal requirements
- Iterate on existing products and features to ensure that we are delivering industry-leading brand and UX
- Collaborate with leadership team to define and bring our brand to life in product and marketing materials
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to build intuitive, elegant solutions
- Meet with customers to understand their feedback and integrate it into our product design
What we're looking for:
- Portfolio link with examples of previous work
- 5+ years of designing complex web applications
- Experience designing for broad audiences (understanding of accessibility standards, localization)
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Experience delivering easy-to-use solutions that balance user needs, technical, and business considerations
- Demonstrated skills in refining, maintaining and developing brand standards
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and interest in product strategy and vision
- Fluency in modern design tools and processes with skills in facilitation, research, interaction design and visual design
- Strong leadership skills and ability to achieve results through influence and persuasion
Bonus experience:
- Experience designing for complex enterprise SaaS products
- UX-focused approach to product design

Annual Salary: $150,000-$170,000
$150,000 - $170,000 a year
