POSITION SUMMARY
As the Digital Product Manager for our website team, you will lead and oversee website projects for both the iconic Empire State Building website and the Empire State Realty Trust corporate website. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for digital marketing, who can drive web development initiatives from concept to execution and work with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to deliver results and initiatives that can positively impact the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Focus on regularly auditing the company’s online presence and web pages and recommending efficient and innovative ways to increase performance of the conversion funnel on the ESB website as well as the ESRT website
- Analyze user data to uncover optimization opportunities that improve conversion metrics, customer experience, and overall sales performance
- Collaborate with external vendors, such as the Ventrata team, to enhance checkout processes and assess feature performance
- Work alongside marketing and PR teams to grow organic traffic and improve customer acquisition via SEO and strategic partnerships
- Continuously seek out new insights in digital marketing and user behavior to keep strategies innovative and results-driven
- Support the evaluation and ongoing improvement of existing and new digital products, keeping the focus on long-term growth and profitability
- Conduct and oversee A/B testing initiatives to improve user engagement, optimize customer experience, and elevate conversion rates across digital platforms
- Leverage web analytics tools to assess site performance, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver actionable insights that contribute to company revenue goals
- Partner with content, design, and technical teams to design and implement streamlined digital marketing strategies within web products for seamless user interactions
- Manage the execution and delivery of website projects for ESB and ESRT, ensuring they align with both business priorities and scheduled timelines
- Work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders, including the Fullstack Web Developer and Senior Digital Marketing Manager, to ensure projects meet high standards of quality and are completed efficiently within budget
- Create and execute product strategies that not only enhance site functionality but also help achieve broader business objectives
- Regularly communicate project progress, potential risks, and results to all stakeholders, fostering transparency and proactive collaboration
- Develop detailed project plans, outlining scopes, milestones, and deadlines for both new and existing requests to maintain efficient workflows
- Monitor project progress while addressing roadblocks and ensuring swift resolutions to keep projects on track
- Oversee cross-departmental projects for the websites, ensuring all efforts align with the larger growth and marketing strategies of the organization
- Supervise the Fullstack Web Developer to ensure they consistently deliver high-quality work and meet established deadlines for both ESRT and ESB needs
- Inspire teamwork by fostering an open and innovative environment where team members are empowered to contribute and tackle challenges
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Driving measurable growth in website traffic, conversions, and ticket sales through effective digital marketing strategies, A/B testing, and data-driven optimizations
- Successfully designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests to optimize campaign performance and user experience
- Communicating complex strategies and performance results clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and introducing innovative, actionable solutions to enhance marketing strategies and digital product performance
- Staying informed about digital marketing trends and successfully incorporating those trends to increase performance metrics and revenue
- Managing and delivering multiple digital marketing projects on time, within budget, and in collaboration with the Fullstack Developer and Senior Digital Marketing Manager
- Building and sustaining strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment
- Executing high-quality campaigns and product initiatives that align with the company’s goals and objectives
- Demonstrating deep expertise in web analytics and performance monitoring tools to deliver insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Proactively addressing team challenges and creating solutions that support broader marketing and business goals
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Strong understanding of web development processes and digital marketing strategies
- Proven ability to manage A/B testing and familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify challenges and propose solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Understanding of Fullstack Web Development processes and technologies
- Passion for the digital marketing industry and staying up to date with current trends and best practices
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience in E-commerce Digital Marketing or a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field
- PMP, Agile, or other relevant certifications preferred
- Previous experience within the real estate, tourism, or hospitality industries is a plus

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

$105,000 - $115,000 a year
Salary is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, job location, size of property where applicable, and/or certifications. In addition to your base salary, ESRT provides discretionary annual bonuses.
