Position Overview
The Content, Social Media & Events Coordinator is responsible for leading our social media strategy (ie twitter), executing on campaigns, planning events & conferences, and supporting our brand strategy. In this role you will have the opportunity to partner with our small, high impact team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across platforms such as Twitter and Discord
- Create high-quality content tailored to the crypto and DeFi community
- Monitor, track, and report on social media metrics and performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and queries to foster positive relationships and growth
- Plan, coordinate, and execute on events at industry conferences
- Support the creation and distribution of promotional materials for events, ensuring consistent messaging and branding
- Assist in post-event evaluation and reporting to measure success and gather insights for future improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management and event coordination
- Experience within cryptocurrency is a must, experience in DeFi is highly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content tailored to the crypto community.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms, analytics tools, and event management software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and drive innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, DeFi concepts, and the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
