We’reseeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer to join our team building a mission-critical SaaS platform that helps organizations respond to global emergencies. Our microservice-based architecture runs on AWS and leverages both Scala and .NET technologies. You’ll work on scalable backend services, intuitive front-end interfaces, and cloud-native infrastructure, all designed to protect lives through real-time data processing and communication. 

What you'll do

    • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of full-stack engineers. 
    • Design and build scalable microservices using Scala, .NET Core, and C#. 
    • Develop front-end features using React or Angular. 
    • Work with AWS services like EKS, ECS, API Gateway, and OpenSearch. 
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives. 
    • Contribute to DevOps automation using GitLab, Jenkins, and containerization tools. 
    • Advocate for engineering best practices and mentor junior developers. 
    • Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, including AI-assisted development tools. 

What you'll bring:

    • 2+ years of experience in a full-stack development role using .NET or Java/Scala. 
    • 1+ years building scalable web applications with .NET Core, C#, Scala, and MongoDB (or similar). 
    • Hands-on experience with AWS microservices architecture (EKS, ECS, OpenSearch). 
    • Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular. 
    • Strong understanding of multi-threaded applications, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native design. 
    • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. 
    • Exposure to AI developer tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor. 
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 

Bonus if you have:

    • Experience with geospatial technologies or real-time data processing. 
    • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployment strategies. 
    • Agile/Scrum team experience. 
    • Passion for building software that makes a real-world impact. 
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $100,000 - $130,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
