As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our core products, MerchantView and MarketView, which provide comprehensive merchant monitoring and risk management for our global clients. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of driving growth and trust in ecommerce, by developing backend systems that ensure the integrity and security of online marketplaces and financial transactions.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJs, aligning with our commitment to innovation and excellence in risk management.
- Contribute to the development of microservices and distributed systems that support real-time risk assessment, analysis, and the identification of illicit activities across billions of products and services.
- Collaborate closely with customer success teams, risk analysts, and other stakeholders to develop solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients, facilitating safe ecommerce expansion.
- Utilize advanced data structures, algorithms, and software engineering practices to optimize system performance and ensure the highest levels of security and reliability.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our development and operational practices, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of risk intelligence technology.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in backend development, with proven expertise in Node.JS, TypeScript, and NestJs.
- Strong experience with designing and implementing microservices and distributed systems in a cloud-based environment.
- A solid understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and scalable system architecture.
- Proficiency in working with big data technologies and an understanding of data structures and data modeling.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with big data streaming technologies like Kafka or Pulsar -An advantage
- Familiarity with web scraping and crawling -An advantage
- Knowledge of Java and Python programming languages -An advantage
- Experience with Golang -An advantage
- Prior experience in ecommerce, fintech, or cybersecurity sectors -An advantage
