Everly Health is seeking a world-class Senior Manager, Accounting to join our Accounting Team. The ideal candidate is an ambitious self-starter who is excited to learn and grow within a fast-paced organization. This role will be responsible for running the monthly close process and be a key player in leading the Company’s finance and accounting function. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and ability to multitask. This position offers a tremendous opportunity to gain experience with a growing company and have exposure across departments at Everly Health.

What You'll Do:

    • Oversee the Everly Health GL accounting function, with support of 1-2 accountants, and assist the revenue and COGS teams when required
    • Lead month-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts 
    • Ownership of all GL accounting functions (prepaid, fixed asset, intangibles, general accrual management)
    • Review accruals and expenses to ensure all transactions are properly classified, recorded, and recognized 
    • Perform financial statement analysis and document meaningful explanations for fluctuations on a monthly basis
    • Support external audit requirements related to areas of responsibility, including preparation and/or review of audit schedules 
    • Partner with teams across Finance, Data, and Operations to provide financial support 
    • Participate in cross-functional process improvements (including the implementation of key internal controls) and support management in ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests 

Who You Are:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field required 
    • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, eCommerce or healthcare preferred 
    • CPA or working toward completing CPA certification preferred
    • Strong knowledge and application of GAAP and SOX
    • Ability to solve problems autonomously and encourage team members to do the same
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; Netsuite, Alteryx, and Tableau a plus 
    • A team player with excellent time management skills and high level of ownership and accountability who can challenge the status quo
    • Robust interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams 
    • Commitment to process improvement with prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment a plus
